World fish migration Day 2014 successfully celebrated at Jagannath University, Bangladesh on 25th May 2014.

- Coordinator : Md Muzammel Hossain, Research Student, Department of Zoology, Jagannath University.
During the event different program was held such as..
- Seminar,
- Documentary show,
- Open Discussion,
- Quiz competition program, etc.
About 150 student were participated in the event,
- Shilpi saha win 1st prize in the fish identification program and
- Nafis got a 2nd prize in the documentary show.
Every participant was enjoyed and learned about fish
migration.
- Md. Muzammel Hossain was delivered welcome speech .
- Assistant professor, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Baki and Abdullah Al Masud delivered speech on fish, river and people.
- Professor Dr. Md. Zakaria Mia delivered speech on the important of migratory fish.
- Professor Dr. Md. Saiful islam delivered guild line speech.
- Assistant Professor, Shafiullah Habib presented types of fish migration.
- Researcher, Naser Ahmed conducted on open discussion and quiz.
