The
Department of Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment, School of
Agricultural Sciences, University of Thessaly, decided instead of
organising the “5th International Symposium on Hydrobiology &
Fisheries” to proceed in collaboration with the “Panhellenic Society of
Technologists Ichthyologists (PA.S.T.I.)” to a jointly organised series
of congresses called «International Congress on Applied Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment – “HydroMedit”».
The Congress is the evolution of the “5th International Symposium on
Hydrobiology & Fisheries”, and the “6th International Congress on
Aquaculture, Fisheries Technology and Environmental Management -
AquaMedit 2014” aiming to establish a more enhanced and
multidisciplinary International Congress.
The «1st International Congress on Applied Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment – “HydroMedit 2014”» will be held in Volos, on 13-15 November 2014, and the «2nd International Congress on Applied Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment – “HydroMedit 2016”» will be held at Mesolonghi, on 10-12 November 2016.
The Organising Committee consists of: Neophitou Christos Professor UTH (Chairman), Vlachos Nicholaos Μember BD PASTI, Exadactylos Athanassios Assistant Professor UTH, Mantzafleri Niki Μember PASTI, Panagiotaki Panagiota Associate Professor UTH, Skordas Konstantinos Lecturer UTH, Tsoumani Miranda Gener. Secret. BD PASTI, Chatziefstathiou Michael President AC PASTI, and, Tziantziou Lambrini Techn. Staff UTH (Secretariat).
